Actopolis is a collaborative initiative by
Goethe Institute and
Urbane Künste Ruhr to act as transnational laboratory to research art as urban practice in the context of social, urban, and political context. Several projects were developed jointly and implemented in cities like Athens, Belgrade, Bucharest, Ankar/Mardin, Oberhausen, Sarajevo, and Zagreb over a three year long period. Following the invitation of Actopolis LAB Sarajevo's curator
Danijela Dugandžić researchers from NTSI Lab offered a 3 days long workshop in the Historical Museum of Bosnia and Herzegovina to ideate and map the needs of local communities of the city of Sarajevo. Under the topics of
Playgrounds and
Leisure Time various ways of mapping strategies using analog and digital technologies were introduced, and several significant case-studies presented. The
Graph Commons platform was introduced to participants to graph networks of the city of Sarajevo.
