Waseem is a student from Kenya, currently studying Biology and Film at NYUAD. After graduation, he aims to either pursue a career in research field or medical school. His passion in Biology falls under investigating the cause and effects of a broad range of cases. Some of his research is based on the cause and impact of pneumonia on a local community in Kenya. In another research case he was working on, he was also able to focus on the process in which sewage water is treated and released. Apart from that, Waseem wishes to merge his Film skills together with his research in Biology to evoke new content. His role in the NTSI-lab is a unique one, he will be working as a student assistant to develop a new fertiliser, specifically focusing on investigating and culturing the compounds that will be present in the upcoming fertiliser.
